Hummel "Boy in Tree" Brooch Pin~Silson Co. Regelmann 1941

This adorable vintage brooch is of a Hummel design, a "boy being chased up a tree by a dog", of which were patented by William Regelmann in 1941. He was the jewelry design inventor for the Silson Company. This particular design was was patented on April 29, 1941. This cute brooch is larger, measuring 3 1/4" high and 2 1/4" wide. It is a rhodium plated base metal and in excellent condition. The brooch has "pat. pend." on the back. I believe these are quite limited so somewhat rare.
