In exquisite, vintage mint condition...this is a remarkable piece of estate jewelry with color that is absolutely breath-taking and ever changing.
The large brooch is sculpted to appear three dimensional. The center design motif is a flower and this lies atop a swirling filigree of multi-dimensional rhinestones. Most of the stones are colored light green with that eye-catching aurora borealis prismatic color. A few of the stones look like opals...all are either round or marquise gems.
When photographed, the aurora borealis effects are were especially colorful...the brooch literally changes colors when against black backgrounds, versus white...and changes color in daylight as well as night light. This is highly versatile for wear and wonderfully elegant.
Prong set, the brooch unfortunately does not have any designer marks whatsoever. It comes from a lovely woman's estate and has been packed away carefully for many decades. It measures approximately 3 inches or 7.5 cm across at the widest point.
