Art Deco Vintage Silver Ring ~ Amethyst & Marcasites ~ c1920s

This is a fine quality sterling amethyst and marcasite ring c1920's - the early Deco era. The design is a large domed and layered geometric oval with fine bright marcasites. At the center is a faceted amethyst of beautiful color. The shoulders of the ring also have marcasites ~ a lovely touch. The dome is formed by tiered geometric layers.

Condition is excellent with all the marcasites present and the amethyst bright and perfect. The band is marked 925 for sterling.

Dimensions are : the face is approx. 3/4 inch high and just under 5/8 inch wide - difficult to measure. The ring stands 3/16 inch from the hand wide and is US 6. Weight is 4.1 grams.

This is a gorgeous Art Deco ring in fine antique condition.
