Top Pincushion is ideal for displaying Hat and Lapel Pins. It was used in my shop to display the slightly shorter hatpins and it was striking. The intricate tufting of the gold silk satin interior is magnificently done.
Condition: Gold silk satin interior appears unused exposing the original purple velvet exactly as it would have been on the top of the box. Pincushion top black nap has worn away. Nap wear does not take away from the overall appearance. Overall, Jewelry Box is in Very Good Antique Condition.
