Alaskan Native Indian Seal & Beaver Doll

ALASKAN NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN DOLL - meticulously made of Beaver and Seal with a hand carved and painted wooden head. This doll is attributed to Susie Browl, a Yup'ik Indian Lady who lived in Aek, Alaska (near Bethel, Alaska). This would have been one of Susie Brown's last dolls.

Alaska Native Indians only recently began signing their works of art. Many of the Elders still will not.

Doll measures 11" Tall.

Excellent Vintage Condition.
