Society Silk Embroidered Fruit Damask Napkins with Fringe
This is a beautiful and very unusual set of 6 vintage napkins. They have society silk embroidery and each one is different. The napkins are off white damask linen with drawn work and fringed edges. There is silk embroidery fruit on one corner of each napkin. There is grapes, a peach (?), cherries, strawberries, plums, and one looks like brown flowers (not sure what fruit this could be). The embroidery is very well done.

I don't believe the napkins have ever been washed. The fringe is not perfect, but could be combed out a bit better. There is a water ring on one and some faint soiled areas on others. I showed the worst in the last 3 photos. The last photo has some dots that look like they could be rust. The napkins could be whiter if they were washed, but I was afraid to launder them. They have no holes.
The napkins measure approx. 11.5 inches square plus approx. 2 inches of fringe all the way around
