This is a beautiful example of linen from the Arts and Crafts era. It is a long linen table runner. It measures approx. 52.5 inches long. The linen is a light ecru color. The edges are scalloped and embroidered with a light yellow thread. The embroidered in the center is all hand done. It has a floral, dot, and scroll motif. The scrolls are done in black thread. The flowers (tulips)and dots are done in a lilac purple and green. The tulips are slightly padded to give a 3 dimensional look.
There are no holes, stains, smells, or worn spots. It has been laundered and pressed. It measures approx. 16 inches wide. The only issues I can find are a couple of spots where the black thread has come out (as seen in last photo) this is not at all noticeable.
This is a fantastic piece of Arts and Crafts textile. It would look gorgeous on any table or dresser!
