Wedgwood Queensware Light Blue on White Pitcher, 1936

This is a white Wedgwood Queensware pitcher with light blue applied designs. It has a grapevine wreath at the top and scenes with women, children and cherubs around the base. It has a stylized rope handle

The pitcher is 4 5/8" tall, 2 3/8" across at the opening, just under 4" handle to spout and 2 7/8" at the foot.

It is clearly marked Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston Made in England Wedgwood Embossed Queens Ware and has an impressed W K 36.

There are no chips, cracks or breaks, but there is a small stain under the glaze near the spout. It looks like something was on the stoneware before the clear glaze was applied and fired and it left a stain.
