This is a mid-Victorian flow blue cup saucer or dessert plate (like the third of a trio under a teacup and saucer) by F & R Pratt in the Indian pattern. It has nice clarity in the floral transferware pattern with a rich, smudgy, flowing blue. This is a harder-to-find pattern.
Age and maker: F & R Pratt, 1840s. This piece is not marked on the back which is typical for the very small pieces.
Condition: Typical crazing, staining and stilt marks. This plate has a couple of glaze pops, too.
Size: 5 3/8" x 7/8" It's a little large for a cup saucer plate, but it could be, although it is most likely a dessert plate.
This would make a nice addition to your flow blue collection.
***I have other pieces in this pattern and will combine shipping for up to four pieces in one box, in this or other patterns.***
