This nearly 100-year-old pocket road map of Oklahoma by Rand McNally has seen some use but is a very interesting piece of history. According to the cover, it includes Main Highways, Railroad and Electric Lines, Counties, Cities, Towns, Villages, Post Offices, Lakes, Rivers, etc. It's original price was 35 cents.
In addition to the very interesting map, there are railroad and other tables and several advertisements from the 1920s for products and company variations that no longer exist. Both the map and several of the other pages would frame nicely, despite the observable damage.
Condition: The cover is loose, as are a few pages and the map has some broken edges and tears along old folds.
Size: Folded, the pocket map is 6 3/4" x 4 1/4". Unfolded, the map is ~36" x 24".
This is a fun map to compare today's road, towns and counties with a modern version. The advertising pages' copy is entertaining to read. This pocket map would make a nice addition to your collection.
