This cute, flow blue polychrome chamber pot is in the Grosvener pattern by Keeling & Co, one of their Losol Ware pieces and patterns.
The chamber pot features a dark slate flow blue color with roses in a polychrome transferware. The flow blue is used as an accent color, bands bordering the ribbon of flowers, outlining individual flowers on the body of the piece, as detail on the handle and a border/wreath on the top and inside lip of the pot itself. The roses and rosebuds are in two shades of pink with bright green leaves. There is a gold band around the rim and on the side of the handle.
Condition issues: There are no cracks or chips. The foot shows some rub marks and discolorations, but the inside is clean. It looks like it was rarely used. The gold band is worn, particularly on the handle.
Age: This is one of the few Keeling pieces I've seen without a registration mark. The style and similar patterns mark it to 1901 - 1919.
Size: The pot is ~9" in diameter, 10 1/2" across at the handle and ~5" tall.
This piece would make a lovely addition to your home.
