Flow Blue serving dish, Kelvin by Meakin, late 1880s - 1890s

This beautiful individual-sized serving or chafing dish is in the floral pattern, Kelvin, by Alfred Meakin. The flow is beautiful, soft and smudgy, distinct enough to show the pattern yet flowing in a way to please the most particular collector of this pattern. The pattern circles the outer rim of the dish with obvious "flow" on both the front and back of the dish.

The mark on the back indicates the piece was made in the 1890s.

The dish is app 8" x 10" in an oval shape.
