Hat Adele Claire Black Brown. I started collecting hats due to finding this maker. Quality on this black velvet hat with black grosgrain rosettes with brown ribbon on front. Body states Cotillion Imported from France. Adele Claire was a hatmaker from New York. She made beautiful well made hats and I have looked forever to find more information but have not been successful. Size 22 label and union label. The netting may need to be tacked but the hat is in excellent condition.
