Hat Fall Mod Striped Set Evelyn Varon Exclusive. Fun, fun hat and scarf set. Mod stripes of many colors. Orange, green, purple, red, blue, gold and light brown. Poly type fabric so easy to care for. In very good to excellent condition with only issue is a few small breaks in base or netting on inside of hat. The base is stiff and possibly plastic to hold the form. It also has 2 small combs to hold the hat on. Ponytail on the hat and the scarf matches. It has a Union label and a designer label with red letters of Evelyn Varon Exclusive with a small hatbox. She was a prolific designer and the hat is from mid to late 1960s or possibly earlier. Thanks to Barbara of Rue de la Paix of the Vintage Fashion Guild that helped me with this hat. 7.50 inches across hat and inside 21.0 inches. Scarf is 4.50 inches wide and 52.0 inches long and bias cut.
