Adorable vintage late 1940s to early 1950s.
A member of the Vintage Fashion Guild was kind enough to help me with this novelty velvet hat.
Rope design of burgundy that is a deep, lush color and fabric.
A rhinestone snowflake dangles from the hat.
One photo lightened to show the design.
Matilde is the maker.
The rhinestone snowflake is missing 2 of the 24 rhinestones but hard to see. I will attempt to find two replacement stones. The rhinestones are on both sides of the snowflake.
Size is 8.50 inches across and sits as a cap on head.
