Great pair of early vintage Golliwogs, Ca 1920-30's, They both appear to be factory but I am not sure of the maker, The one in the stripe pants measures 21" tall. The one in the yellow pants measures 19" tall. They are both made of a black silk cloth. The 21" has a black yarn wig, Felt eyes and mouth. He is soft stuffed with cotton. Wearing a great suit consisting of blue stripe pants, a purple silk shirt and a green and orange silk and velvet jacket with a red silk tie, He does show wear, Both hands have been mended, some light soiling on his face. A brown spot on his pants and eye, and the jacket has a few seam splits. The smaller Golliwog is hard stuffed, A tight curly wool wig, fur eyes with yarn stitched pupils, a red and white yarn and felt mouth. He is dressed in yellow cotton pants, green and white silk jacket and a blue and white polka dot shirt with a multi colored polka dot tie, He is in great condition for his age, Fading on his silk jacket.
