British Made Tin Tray Floral Design
This pretty tray was made by Metal Tray Manufacturing Co. of London. The design is a colorful floral arrangement of pink/mauve roses and yellow lilies over a beige background. It measures 13 1/2" x 10 1/2" and is 1/2" deep. I estimate it to be 1950's era, the original label on the back describes care and cleaning to keep the baked on varnish layer intact to protect the decoration. Condition is very good; just some small white speckles on the roses, it is free of scratches. The back has wear on the corners and the rounded corners have wear on the edges, and tray has a slight 'tweek' or twist to it but it does not detract, and it is minor. This tray is pretty enough to hang on the wall.
