We have recently acquired a huge collection of Vintage Couture Clothing from a New York City Socialite and are pleased to offer them exclusively to our Ruby Lane Shoppers. This is an absolutely drop dead amazing find...This was purchased by the original owner in Italy in the late 1970's at their Boutique in Milan. It is a Rare piece to find and is in absolutely mint condition. The sweater is a blend of 75% Mohair, 15% Wool and 10% Acrylic(which helps to maintain its shape), shaggy stitch, giving it the look of Mongolian Lamb...There are two on seam pockets and padded shoulders. The original Label is still present with the size tag that reads European Size 38 and measures 38" across the bust, and the same to the hemline, 31" from center back to hemline, 9" from center back to shoulder and 34" from center back to sleeve opening. We would say that in today's sizing it would be a S/M. There are no buttons of any other type of closure down the front and is meant to be worn open. There is noting else we can say except WOW! From a smoke free environment.
