Black Velour Vintage, Ladies Cocktail Hat circa late 1940's.
This adorable hat came to us from the original owner who had purchased it a Bambergers. It is Black Velour, Made In Italy by Riviera and still retains the "L. Bambergers...Newark" inside. The hat sits on the top of the head, with the "tail" sweeping to the right. It is accented with Rhinestones that have been placed in the shape of an arrow, and measures 7 1/4" x 6". The hat is in perfect condition no stains, or wear to it at all, right down to the elastic cord which was used to secure it, either under the chin or hidden under the hair. It is a work or art and displays amazingly well when not worn....From a smoke free environment...
