1930's Tinplate Friction Streetcar or Trolley

An incredibly detailed early tin streetcar with wonderful lithographed colors and textural features. The colors have slightly softened in the last seventy years but this only heightens its appeal. Down to the conductors break crank, handrails and chiming bell the streetcar is 100% complete and without damage, scratches or wear marks. I am unsure as to the maker although it is appears to be of German origin. (Bing, Marklin, Carette.) Included is the bearded conductor, flagman, porter (missing one arm) and a portly gentleman with a cane. These figures also date from the late 20's to early 30's. Included with the set is a 4" x 10" station platform by Hornby. Streetcar measures almost 5" x 10".
