1930's Zuni Turquoise Snake Eyes Bracelet

A stunning example of meticulous craftsmanship from Zuni Pueblo. This incredibly crafted early turquoise bracelet contains hundreds of 2mm and 3mm "snake eye" turquoise spots surrounding three slightly oval 12mm center stones. The turquoise is very high grade early Morenci and is all original to the piece, showing no sign of repair or replacement. The combination of the lovely blue-green turquoise settings and the delicate craftsmanship of the piece, including the heavy four wire construction of the bracelet body complete with detailed s-curve twisted wire decorations, make this beauty one of the finest and most unique pieces I've seen from this time period. It is a museum quality piece in every respect. Weight is 64.2 grams. Tested as sterling silver. 5 5/8" circumference with a 1" gap. The face of the bracelet is 1 5/8" tall.
