Lakota Beaded Knife Sheath

A fabulous large fully beaded knife sheath from the 1880's with wonderful colors from that period. Colors are clear wine red, white heart rose, cobalt blue, a lovely deep sky blue and deep translucent green. This is a hide over parfleche sheath with a center row of tin cones and its original trade butcher knife. All beading seems intact and is sinew sewn. A very handsome sheath in great condition for its age. Knife sheath is 11 1/4" long with knife 14" long. Knife itself is 12 1/2" long. Knife sheath is 3 1/2" at the widest point.
