Olivier De Penne (1831-1897) amazing Lithography from his painting

For your consideration is this incredible antique lithography from a painting of Olivier Charles De Penne (1831-1897), that is hand coloured. the lithographers were : Regnier, Bettannier, Morlon. Published in February 1863, printed by Becquet in Paris, Dusacq et Cie 10 Boulev. Poissonniere.The scene is just spectacular ,with beautiful details of a hunting scene, just look at the horses. It is titled "Chasse A Courre" ( Le Lancé). Now, the antique frame, you will be amazed by it, it is of solid oak wood, ornate all around with carved flowers. The print has a tear and a water stain near the right bottom corner. The frame has a wonderful patina and just few nicks. A wonderful addition for a collector.

About the artist : (From Wikipedia)

Charles Olivier De Penne was born in Paris in 1831, died in Marlotte in 1897. He was a French painter , he studied at the Barbizon School. He started with historic scenes, but he is remembered for his hunting scenes, and animals. He obtained a grand second prize in Rome (1857), for his painting titled " Jésus et la Samaritaine". He exposed at the Paris Salon. And at the French artist salon where he earned a bronze medal in 1872, a silver medal in 1883, and at the Universal exposition in 1889.
