Vintage Derby Silver Company Etched Child's Cup
This wonderful child's cup with a superb floral etching is signed Derby Silver Company with an anchor in the center and 1 1/2. It has a beautiful decorated handle. The dimensions are 2.75" tall by 2.5" wide without counting the handle. From my research on the Derby Silver Company historical website, items with the “Derby Silver Company” logo most likely date from the nineteenth century. It weighs approx. 150 grams, I believe it is silver plated. It is in very good vintage condition, I did not try to clean, the interior looks like gold wash, one tiny ding that you can see from the inside ( because it is in the floral etching ) , some stains, at the bottom inside of the cup, as seen in the pictures. Quite a wonderful cup for a collection.
