Degenhart Just Green Owl Figure / Figurine
Here is another of Elizabeth Degenhart's glass owls which were produced in a variety of vivid colors. This one is called "just green" and is exactly that...a very vivid green. The piece is an owl sitting atop two books and measures 3½ inches tall. These owls are part of the wonderful colored glass which she produced in her shop in Cambridge, Ohio until her death in 1979. She is often referred to as the first lady of glass for the wonderful colors she used in her pieces.
This one is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks and awaits a new and appreciative home.
