Damascene Station Bracelet / Inlaid Gold - Japanese Komai Shakudo

These bracelets were produced around the 1920's and are a work of fine art. The bracelet is composed of a copper alloy with a small quantity of gold, that is washed with solution to produce the dark iron color and then inlaid with a small amount of gold.

This bracelet has 12 separate and distinctive stations, each with a different engraving on both the front and back sides of the pieces. It measures 8 inches in length and the stations are slightly over one inch by ¼ inch each. It is missing the safety chain, but is otherwise in excellent condition.
