14K Gold Filled Carved Shell Cameo Pendant by Curtis Mfg. Co

This lovely pendant is an elongated oval with a beautiful scroll work frame made of 14K Gold Fill. It is wonderfully carved and delicate. The chain with the pendant is also marked DEC, which is the Curtis Jewelry Manufacturing Co., Inc. – Providence, RI. The mark was first used in 1950 and they are famous for sterling and gold filled jewelry, most of which was produced in the 1950's and 1960's. This piece measures 1½ by 1 inch and hangs from a 14K Gold Filled chain that measures 21 inches and is also marked.
