Vintage Elgin American Embossed Floral Compact

This is a beautiful vintage Elgin American compact. Most of it is gold color metal but there are delicate flowers on the front.It measures approximately 3inches x 2 1/2 inches. The inner lid has an embossed pattern to the goldtone and is stamped Elgin American USA. Inside this lid is a place for powder. There is a little bit of tarnish inside the inner lid. There is mild wear to the front in the form of tiny marks. The back shows wear. In my estimation this is a lovely compact whether it is for current use or as an addition to your collection of compacts. The wear on the back would not bother me.
