Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring... 1/2 to 3/4 Carat Center Stone

This is a beautiful diamond engagement ring set in platinum. I just bought this from an estate, and I have not had a jeweler look at it to tell me the total carat weight or clarity/color... but I will tell you what I can see myself. The center stone is more than 5mm in diameter.. so it is somewhere between 1/2 carat to 3/4 carat in size. The stone is not clear... there are inclusions, one of which is quite large (white) and you can see with the naked eye. There are nine smaller stones that are chanel set and go underneath the main stone which is set high in a four prong setting. The ring is a size 4 1/2 at the moment, but could be resized easily by a jeweler. I did notice that there is a small hairline in the back of the band (in the platinum) where it would be sized. This is a hefty ring.. it weighs 8.7 grams. It is marked on the inside of the band "PT 900" and also "ZEI" which I believe is the maker of the ring. I am listing this for much less than it would cost in the jewelry store. It is a vintage ring, and would be gorgeous polished up, sized, and cleaned by a jeweler. You will be pleased.
