This is a lovely antique c1890 English street scene watercolor depicting a horse drawn coach in the center. The piece is a combination of pencil and watercolor... it is not a print! It is signed at the lower left corner "A. Douglas-Hamilton". I could not find much information about this artist, but I did find a portrait painting of Thomas Carter by A. Douglas-Hamilton that now hangs in the Mansion House and Guildhall in York England. This watercolor was obviously done by a talented hand. The sight measurement is 12 3/4" by 7 3/4" and the gold frame measures 17" by 12". The condition is excellent for the age. There is a small 1 1/2" tear at the left edge, which is not noticeable at all. The horses and people are exceptionally rendered. You will be very pleased.
