This is a beautiful antique Victorian c1900 Citrine and sterling silver vermeil filigree necklace and earring set. The necklace is composed of a huge faceted natural citrine stone, that sparkles in the light. It is a very large stone that measures 32.5mm by 24mm by 16.5mm thick. I do not know the carat weight but it is very large. The earring citrines are 1. 13mm by 10mm by 7.5mm thick and 2. 15mm by 11mm by 8mm thick. The necklace has beautiful chains that hold and drape around the citrine pendant. The necklace is 16 1/2" long, the pendant is 2 1/4" wide by 1 7/8" tall. The earrings are about 1/2" wide and dangle down about 1 7/16". They have screwbacks that are marked sterling. I do not know if the screwbacks are original... they may have had pierced loops at one time.. and could easily be converted back to pierced. The set weighs 48.2 grams. This set is most likely Austro-Hungarian in origin, but I am not 100% positive. It is just sooo gorgeous... a rare set.
