Antique Bohemian Glass Vase Alligators on Blue Glass 1880s

This heavy Bohemian glass vase is a classic conversation piece. It is made of ribbed blue glass with applied brown topaz alligators and rigaree. The 1880s French influence of the glass is immediately apparent. The vase may have been made by Harrach, who at this time was designing glass that emulated the work of Auguste Jean. The vase is in excellent condition, with no damage. The vase has a good bit of wear on the bottom edge that is expected for the age of the vase. The vase has two joining polished pontil areas on bottom. (Many thanks to the Bohemian Glass Discussion Group on Facebook for their help with this vase.)
