This is a lovely duck dish that was made in the 1930s. Ducks like this are sometimes attributed to Seguso. However, the dish is acid marked with a very small "Made in Italy" stamp used by Napoleone Martinuzzi. The style and stamp indicate this dish is most likely Zecchin-Martinuzzi. The dish is made of clear glass made opaque with dense bubbles. The glass has sommerso gray in the wings and bill -- very nice details. The bill was squared in the making. This is not damage. The dish itself, however, has an old 5/8" chip on the rim. The repair has yellowed with age and is interesting itself. This is the only damage.
