Old Yellow Ewer Shaped Cabinet Decoration

This is a mysterious little piece of glass that has defied identification. It is made of clear molded glass that is painted yellow on the inside. The paint is very stable. I was told it was most likely heated in the lear after being painted. It has metal mounts that were fashionable in central Europe around the turn of the 20th Century. The raised number 657 is in two places on the bottom. The bolt that secures the mount in place blocks the opening of the vessel, so it is not functional -- only decorative. The vessel is 4.75" (12 cm) tall to the top of the handle. I disassembled the vessel to clean and inspect for damage. There is no damage. It weighs 8 oz (227 g). Shipping wt 1 lb 7 oz.
