This is a wonderful estate find from here in Upstate New York, where I uncovered several very high end fine vintage pieces of jewelry. This yellow gold charm fob pendant charm on a necklace chain is no exception. Just look at the heart shaped charm slide, with 13 inset round shaped genuine opals........creating this fabulous design design.......how unusual to see this unique detailed design!! What a fine example of Victorian -style dsign in jewelry making. It features this large amazing hook at the end that woman used to hang their ornate watches from. Today women hang charms, pendants or watches from these very sturdy large hooks.
