The Blue Ware line was produced by Weller Pottery pre 1920s. Two different panels , one of a woman playing a lyre and one of a dancing woman holding a bunch of grapes, are embossed on a beautiful matte royal blue background. The ivory colored figures and the foliage are in relief and are enhanced with pink, green, and brown colors. It is marked on the bottom with an impressed Weller. The vase is 10 inches high and 4 1/2 inches diameter. Condition is excellent- no damage or repairs. There is some light glaze crackling mainly on the figures.
This vase is unusual in that there are two panels with figures. I have only seen vases in this line with one figure and a blank back side.
