1901 Walker & Hall Sheffield Sterling Sugar & Creamer Set

Crafted by master silversmiths Walker & Hall, Sheffield, England in the year of Victoria's death and Edward's ascension to the throne, these are elegant pieces. In a simple style popular through the 1880s, they have their bottom half vertically fluted, a design which is echoed by the reeded handles. Wrought from thick silver, the bottoms are flat and marked with Walker and Hall's trademark flag and the production numbers. British registry hallmarks are stamped on the sides of each.

The sugar measures 3 1/4" high x 5 5/8" wide. The creamer 3 1/2" high x 4 1/2" wide. Combined weight is 245 grams (7.9 troy ounces). Condition is quite good . There are a couple of small dents on the bottoms and the insides and bottoms might benefit from further polishing. The gilt interior of the milk pitcher is worn.
