1912 International Silver Nathan Hale Sterling Chocolate Muddler Spoon

This is a rare chocolate muddler, a long handled spoon used to stir powdered cocoa into hot milk in a chocolate pot. It is the "Nathan Hale" pattern made by International and was patented in 1912. It is sterling silver with a gold washed bowl. It has a crisp design and is stamped with an Indian head- International's hallmark.

Dimensions: 8 1/4" long and 1 3/4" bowl width. Weight is 1.3 troy ounces. There is no monogram. Condition is excellent.
