A gorgeous pink shell-shaped guilloche top with a black enamel Greek key border graces this square cut crystal perfume or scent bottle. In pristine condition, the flip top lid reveals a lozenge shape glass stopper which seats snugly in the ground bottle neck. The interior of the stopper and the rim of the sterling collar are gold washed and the gilding is intact.
The English hallmarks show it to be of Birmingham manufacture, 1931, and by a maker whose hallmark I cannot decipher. It stands 3 3/4" high and the base measures 2 3/8" x 1 9/16". The top closes with a satisfying snap. This sparkling gem is has no condition issues.
