You can tell that these are intended for cutting sprigs of grapes at the table rather than cutting string, say, because of the tell-tale grape design on the handles. Clusters of grapes and leaves and vines in relief trail around the grapevine handles. The steel blades are unworn and have no pitting. They are tight and the points come together. I tested their sharpness by cutting a piece of paper.
Length is 6 7/8" and the weight is 65 grams. The handles are marked Sterling. and with the hallmark for Webster Co., North Attleboro, Mass. The silver plated blades are in fine condition.
