The elegant preserves pot and ladle are a marriage but they consort well together; the ladle is from the 1930s and the ladle from ca. 1870s. The jar is a heavy clear crystal with six dimpled sides and sharp cut diamond pattern down the sides. The rayed bottom has been ground to remove the pontil mark. The sterling lid is Gorham 1933-41. The graceful long ladle is silver plated and has an Aesthetic period pattern.
The jar is 3 1/2" high and 4" widest diameter. The ladle is 5 1/2" long. Total weight is 1 lb 1 oz. Condition all around is excellent.
