So charming! From the 1920s-30s, this child's feeding bowl was hand painted and artist signed with a delightful design of a young girl, probably Goldilocks, being pursued by a young bear who seems perplexed because he looks like he wants to play. The colors are wonderful, especially the blue sky with wispy white clouds.
The blank- a 7 1/2" diameter by 1 1/2" high porcelain bowl- was probably made in Germany. It has the Three Crown Mark of a U.S. Importer on the bottom. The artist's name is Karges. The condition is excellent with no damage, repairs, or paint wear.
