Hand wrought and signed by Sing Fat, a silversmith in Canton who produced a variety of silver items for export to Western countries from the late 1800s into the early 1900s. The small teaspoon has a bamboo handle with a detailed pagoda at the top. The bowl is lightly gold washed and is inscribed CANTON in cursive. The back has hallmarks for 900 purity silver and SF for Sing Fat.
It is 4 7/8" (12.3 cm) long and weighs 11 grams. Condition is excellent.
