1932-34 Jeanette Glass "Adam" Butter Dish GREEN

The hard-to-find butter dish in "Adam" pattern from Jeanette Glass is quite rare to find in green color glass. This is in excellent condition and is guaranteed to be original early 1930s ( this desirable depression glass has been reproduced but there are some discrepancies- see bottom note).

The square deep under plate is 6" x 6" and 1 1/4" high. The round top is 4 1/2" diameter. Total height to the finial is 4 1/4". There are no defects or damage. This is a great piece to complete your collection of the Adam pattern.

We have scrutinized this piece ( which came from an old estate where she had the whole set of green Adam pieces) and as per Gene Florence's description of the Adam butter dish reproduction: Veins in leaves- old- large leaf veins all touch or join the center vein. New- large veins do not touch. Bottom- old- 4 arrowhead-like points line up in north, east, south, west directions of compass. New bottoms have points lined up in NW, NE, SE, and SW directions. Additionally, new pieces have bad mold lines.
