I have been busy purchasing and going over some nice clocks the last week or two and will be getting more than a few in my store shortly. I have had this for some time and well to be honest forgot exactly where I purchased it. It is a nice what I call gingerbread style mantel clock made in the 1880's-90's time frame in nearby clock making history rich Ansonia CT. The case is all in excellent original condition and as mentioned very ornate and richly pressed and carved. It measures about 23" tall x 15" wide x 4 1/2" deep and has a 5" Ansonia dial. I did install a new properansonia paper label on the bottom section to make it look even better. It chimes on the half hour and proper number of strikes on the hour as well with a pleasant sounding coil chime. It is a large size and I believe the most attractive gingerbread case i can remember having. Hopefully the pictures show that and the beautiful lighter oak tone it has and answer some question concerning condition. I ultrasonically cleaned and lubed the movement and saw no signs of high wear or other problems. This clock is in great condition and runs perfectly guaranteed or I would not have it up for sale. I trying to price it nicely with good value to customer in hopes of a quick sale, and to have another happy customer, and I can go find more neat stuff. Thanks for your time and interest.
