I just went to a great Civil War and WWII military auction and managed to score a few nice things and will be getting all listed the next couple of days. These two are in good overall condition but will need a little cleaning of surface rust and to be able to read the markings easier. They both have cast brass handles and iron guards, complete with regimental marks and both are also dated 1871.Some pitting as normal for a 140 year old blade and they were part of a very good collection. They measure 27 1/4" long and the guard goes about 4" wide and the handle 5". I'm offering both together and they should be a great addition to any 1800's military collection. I tried to buy smart and offer at nice price hoping for a quick sale so I can go find more good stuff for shop at the many excellent estate sales coming up. Thanks for your time and interest.
