I went on a nice weekend camping trip to Rhode Island and Southern CT this last weekend and of course did a little New England picking along the way. I managed to pick up a few nice additions to the shop. I have always enjoyed picking up neat instruments when I can do so reasonably. I can not find any markings on this and it is in very good structural condition. It has been played a bit and did not sit idle. It measures about 33" long with a 13 1/2" body so the neck goes 21 1/2". it has a bit of mother of pearl to dress it up a bit, 4 pieces on the neck and 1 on the top. All the adjustment knobs are complete and work and all the hardware is present. It is going to need a cleaning and tuning. I am not a banjo person to tune it properly, but it should make a shop visitor pretty happy, speaking of which I had no luck finding a match to it it may be worth a good deal more than I am asking and make a nice score for the right person. The shipping will be about 4-5 dollars more than shown for there will be a balloon charge for this size box, but always just what i have to pay. I tried to picture it well to both show them off a bit and answer some questions. I also try to price all my items for good value in hopes of a quick sale so then i can go find more good stuff. Thanks for your time and interest and the nice first 2 1/2 years on Ruby Lane.
