just attended the NAWCC Northeast Regional in Syracuse NY to freshen up my clock and pocket watch inventory. I did well and will be getting all listed into shop for the fall season. This is really neat and unusual and sort of for the dog lover and is very attractive. It is running perfectly and has the attractive gold trim both on the door , the base and the neat pillar also on the door. Everything looks to me to be original including the hands and pendulum except for the dial which I had to replace. All else about this clock is exceptional and has a really attractive brass pendulum. I am starting to like the better Japanese clocks and will continue to be on the look out for them . I can not find ad problems with the case and the movement has very low wear. It measures about 11" wide x 18" tall x 5" deep and has a 5" dial. It chimes on the half hour as well as the proper number on the hour. It was crafted in Japan area in the 1890's time frame. I checked out the movement and it is truly in nice low wear condition and as mentioned running perfectly. I tried to picture it well to both show it off and answer some questions and price it nicely in hopes of a quick sale to have another happy customer and I can go out and find some more good stuff. Thanks for your time and interest.
