Offered for sale is a late 19th century, Meiji period, Japanese Kutani porcelain bowl with iron red enamels highlighted in gilt, signed on the bottom. The bowl's interiors feature scholars in a garden setting; the exterior a procession of Japanese ornaments.
The bowl is in excellent condition with minor age related wear to the enamels and gilt.
