French 19th C. Louis XV French Provincial Armchair With Needlepoint Tapestry

Graceful 19th century French Provincial Louis XV armchair with carved frame covered in needlepoint Tapestry. The Tapestry depicts a forest scene with a lion, leopard, and birds surrounded by flora and fauna. The overall colors emit a soft earthy tone with predominant tans, yellows, and browns.

The lovely carved walnut frame is in very good condition with a slightly worn patina. The Tapestry is worn slightly on the front of the seat, but the frame is structurally very sound and the Tapestry usueable.

Size: 42 ½" Height x 28" Width x 24" Depth.
